Acceptable stay with issues

great selectionjumping imagecold room

The breakfast had a great selection.

The tv did not work properly with a constantly jumping image. Some lights were also out. It seems they don't check the rooms between guests. I also did not like a wall heater was switched off (i did not notice it) resulting in a cold room upon my return after a night out. The hotel needs to improve, or i will not return.

the staff were friendly and the location next to the motorway was useful, so that was a plus.

The heating in my room was either completely on or off. the kettle took ages to boil too! also, the bathroom floor had a strange dip in it. It felt a bit unsafe, like it might give way underfoot.

The staff was helpful . I received clear explanations upon arrival. The room provided ample space and was notably clean. The full english breakfast was part of the room rate and proved excellent I liked the canal towpath for a pre-breakfast walk.
