a magical stay

friendly staff super clean room lovely breakfast fantastic host

The staff was very friendly, a wonderful thing. The room was super clean, also spacious, exactly what i needed. Breakfast was lovely. I enjoyed my evening meal from the pub menu a lot. The manager was a fantastic host. Everyone felt welcome here.

the continental breakfast has a lot of options. the hotel offers tea, hot chocolate, and drinks which are always topped up. the bar offers a great selection of ales on tap.

The rooms have been refurbished tastefully. the room included a walk in shower. the rooms were spacious. They had big window sections. the beds were comfortable, not single.

The location is in the town center. This makes it close to many lovely walks. the hotel is near a beautiful lake. the location provides a great base for visiting snowdonia.

dirty bathroom unreliable wifi

the initial impression was good but several issues arose my allocated room wasn't clean i found hairs in the bathroom and the bed sheets felt rough. the room's temperature was difficult to regulate the heating seemed stuck on a high setting making it uncomfortably warm during the night. finally the promised high-speed wifi was spotty and unreliable hindering my ability to work.
