a heartfelt getaway..
clean roomsfriendly welcomemodern public areas
I adored how clean the rooms were. I could relax. the parking was good, always space available, easing my arrival. the reception staff extended such a friendly welcome. It felt so personal. i appreciated the bright, modern public areas, a lovely setting for quiet moments.
the check-in area felt a little unattended at one point.

The hotel offers convenient access to nearby villages. It made exploring so simple. the closeness to lovely areas allowed spontaneous day trips. the pretty rutland water areas were easily accessible from this spot.

my bathroom sink tap was too short the water went everywhere it was inconvenient i found stains on the carpet the condition was not ideal i think the tv remote was also full of dirt.

i had some moths fly out of the wardrobe as i was unpacking. talk about unwelcome guests dust seemed to be competing for space on every surface. the room cleaners maybe had a day off?

The breakfast included a great selection of food.
I noticed the hotel seems understaffed, particularly during peak hours. The television channels in my room barely worked and offered a limited selection. The water pressure in the shower was disappointing. It made it difficult to have a good wash.

The room was beautifully decorated. It felt very clean. the staff were helpful throughout my stay. i especially liked the walk-in shower.
my keys initially didn't work, which required a trip back to reception. upon returning after midnight, my keys didn't allow entry through the front door. the security number didn't work either, and it took four calls to get someone to open the door.

Underwhelming stay. Some issues noted
dirty carpet
I found the room wasn't as clean as it needed to be. I saw some crisps and other debris under the bed when i moved the twin beds. the carpet was also very marked and looked like it needed replacing. there were not enough disabled parking spaces available either. this meant i had to park far from the entrance in the evening, frustrating.

i found the staff friendly and helpful. the shower had great power and a ceiling fitted unit. breakfast offered reasonable choices including fruit , cereal and fry up items.
i found no one at reception upon arrival. the gentleman who arrived seemed quite bored and uninterested. i noticed the room had an overwhelming smell of cigarettes as soon as i opened the door.
