the location was acceptable because it was close to the metro.
i booked a room with a river view, but i was given a room on the second floor. i could not see the river at all!!! all i could see was the road and people passing by. the staff didn't even bother to ask about my room floor preference, annoying.

The room was large and comfortable. the location was central to everything.
I was quite displeased with the level of service I received when I inquired about local attractions , because the staff seemed unable to provide helpful tourist guidance. Also , the breakfast arrangement was not up to par. I expected a restaurant , but breakfast was delivered to the room , and the limited options were quite disappointing. I found it quite bothersome because I wanted to try new things , not the same ones over and over.

the location was very nice (right in the gion district!). i found a 7-eleven and coin laundry just a short walk away, very handy. the japanese breakfast was delicious, and i loved the cozy, stylish feel of the place. the staff were also so lovely and attentive.
i wish the hotel offered more assistance with restaurant reservations and tourist information. getting recommendations proved a bit tricky.

the hotel offered a good japanese breakfast delivered straight to the room or to a separate downstairs area. both western and japanese breakfast options were available daily, prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors, i loved it.

the hotel is situated in gion, putting guests within walking distance of many antique shops and cultural attractions. the hotel is also near the river, offering scenic views. it's only a short walk from the train station.

the bathroom featured a separate toilet, an excellent design for added convenience and privacy (i always appreciate that!). the rooms included amenities like usb cables and pajamas, very useful!

The location was fantastic! It was super close to public transportation. Buses and the subway were easily accessible. The in-room breakfasts were a treat, offering both Japanese and Western choices. The hotel is in a quiet historical area and within walking distance of central dining and shopping areas.
The hotel did not have a concierge, which would have been useful for some specific requests.
