wide selection comfy bed many restaurants
i appreciated the wide selection at breakfast it included a chef preparing omelets and a variety of breads i also enjoyed the sea view room with a terrace it had large sliding patio doors the bed was super comfy finally the hotel organized a boat trip for me to see the caves the location is a short walk to many restaurants
the hotel lacked a personal welcome with a drink upon arrival check-in felt businesslike

the hotel location offered fantastic views over the bay. food and service felt good. it was a short walk to local restaurants and into town, that feature a wonderful beach.
the breakfast was held in a room that became very busy. the outside pool felt very cold.

i appreciated the hotel's location near the coast. my room was clean and spacious. the staff generally showed friendliness.
the pool area seemed small and got crowded easily. the pool itself felt rather basic for a hotel of this level. i noticed the sunbeds looked quite worn.

untrained staff mildew smell
the breakfast was extensive. it had lots of options, i will give them that.
i booked what i thought was a 5 star hotel, but it felt more like a 3 star. the staff seemed undertrained, they were disengaged. i found the service inconsistent. also, the mildew smell on some pillows was awful.

Excellent Stay at Coastal Gem
dining area spacious room fine view efficient staff
The lobby had a beautiful view of the dining area and the sea. Our room offered ample space and nice appointments. I had a beautiful double room, and it included a patio with a fine view. The staff was professional and efficient .
Hallways seemed long and lacking decorative elements, made navigation a bit confusing.
