Quiet and cozy stay

The room was quiet despite being located above a pub. The room was also cozy. Staff members were very friendly and helpful . The breakfast included good quality cooked food and was very tasty.

Parking spaces were sometimes full, especially during the day when locals used them for shopping. It was a bit difficult to find a space upon arrival and after leaving.

The room had a very comfortable bed it was also modern and warm. The room was large and very clean. The ensuite bathroom was a good size.

All the staff members were pleasant and helpful. The staff were friendly right from the beginning. One staff member, Ben, was particularly helpful with our requests.

The staff was friendly. The beautiful double room felt spacious. The bed provided supreme comfort, ensuring a restful night. I appreciated the convenient parking available .

the food was a bit too pricey for my taste, but everything else was great.

The room was amazing. It was very large with lots of accessories including toiletries and a variety of coffees, teas, and other fancy options. I noticed they even had oat milk sachets. The quality was unusually great (that's rare these days). The tv was massive.

I appreciate the location of the pub, but I found the road noise to be an issue first thing in the morning.

The building has loads of history and a lively pub downstairs, with a mix of people and an inviting atmosphere. It certainly beats any modern hotel I've seen. Meals can be brought up to rooms. Breakfast was good.

The room I had was very clean and included a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a great size and well-appointed. Ear plugs were provided on the bedside stand (thoughtful touch).

The staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to. I found them attentive. One male staff member with glasses checked us in and seemed to work tirelessly. Staff were happy to bring meals to our room.
