I appreciated the newly refurbished bathroom. the helpful staff answered all my questions quickly. i enjoyed a drink in the garden. It was a nice way to relax. lots of space was available in both the public areas and my room.

My room was right at the end of the corridor. The walk felt long.

i was quite disappointed by a few things . the shower pressure was really low, so it was difficult to have a proper wash. (i really needed a good scrub after travelling!) also, some of the wallpaper in the hallways looked a bit worn. it's a shame, as it did detract from the overall feel of the hotel.

the hotel's location proves convenient, and i find the town quite charming.

The bar service felt rather inaccessible to me, i really struggled to get someone's attention. also, the receptionist lacked information regarding price discrepancies. I paid more than the advertised rate. hot drinks machinery noise during breakfast was awful and really spoiled MY mornings.

The room was a good size. I had a comfort size room. The location is good with lots of restaurants nearby. The access from the main motorway is easy.

The automatic heating only came on late afternoon. The room was cold when I arrived. The bathroom floor was very cold. I had no way to adjust this myself.
