Average Stay with Noticeable Issues

traffic noise expensive drinks
The noise level really bothered me. There isn't enough soundproofing. I could hear traffic clearly from my room (it was not relaxing). The breakfast felt limited for the price, as I wanted a cooked breakfast, and it would have cost extra, which I found annoying. drinks were not cheap. I felt £30 for two glasses of Pimms was excessive (the prices weren't shown upfront, either).

limited parking early bar closing
I found the parking situation quite inconvenient. the hotel has very limited parking spaces. i ended up having to use a public car park a short walk away. This added an unexpected cost to my stay. also, the bar closed earlier than advertised. we returned at 10 pm after dinner to find it shut. There was no sign of the honesty bar mentioned in the hotel details.
