adequate stay

beautiful room great setting polite staff hot hotel cheap pillow pump noise
the room was beautiful and the settings were great. the food was unbelievable!!! the staff was polite and i had a fabulous time. i will return again.
i live in the country in a rural hotel but have never stayed in a hotel that is so hot in february. after turning down the radiator and opening the windows it was only just cool enough to get to sleep at 3:30 am. the pillows felt quite cheap and uncomfortable. the noise of some sort of pump beneath us didn't help in the challenge of falling asleep.

a lovely stay

helpful staff fresh milk breakfast option
the staff were lovely always happy to assist. i especially appreciated the thermos for fresh milk, it's a thoughtful touch. i also found the 'breakfast to go' option great for walkers. it was nice to have it later as a mid-morning break.
the heating was not working correctly in our bedroom and the bathroom felt freezing. a radiator woke us up at 1am with trapped air noise that was loud. it happened a second time so i turned the radiator off. the room was then very cold
