lovely stay at boutique gem

great recommendation room upgrade

the staff had great recommendations, answering so many questions i had. the service was excellent , and they were very cute. i was lucky with a room upgrade to a room that has a roof terrace with very nice views. i slept so well in the spacious room.

housekeepers didn't know the 'do not disturb' sign. on the second day, they knocked on my door three times with the 'do not disturb' light on. on the third day, they came into the room directly with the 'do not disturb' light on , though i wasn't there.

the hotel is in a convenient location , about five minutes walk from venezia santa lucia station. its high walls create a secluded atmosphere. it is perfect to start exploring the city from this spot.

extortionate prices faulty air conditioning

the room was clean and generally acceptable i suppose

the minibar prices were extortionate i felt ripped off it was cheaper to buy drinks from a shop down the road also the air conditioning barely worked at all during the night i woke up sweating each morning it was not a pleasant experience

helpful staff excellent design

The staff provided me with a map and explained the attractions. This was quite helpful (I liked the insider tips). The hotel design was excellent. It also had great cleanliness.
