the gardens were fine and offered a serene escape where i happily sat. rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean which was a plus. breakfast was delicious each morning and set me up for a day sightseeing. staff were friendly and cute and provided a great experience.

the choice of tv channels was limited which was a minor inconvenience. i was travelling on my own and found the selection somewhat lacking. i would have preferred a wider variety to choose from during my downtime in the room.

the swimming pool is an excellent size so you can do some proper lane swimming. there are also vending machines in hallways offering convenience for snacks and drinks. the car park was in the basement and included in the price.

the staff were very friendly polite and efficient attending to every need. nothing was too much trouble demonstrating excellent customer service. the hotel also provided a cleaning service during my two night stay which i appreciated.

the hotel is easy to find , made arrival smooth. it's a short drive from galway making it convenient for exploring the area. the train station is also just a five minute walk allowing easy access to galway city.

the food was delicious at both breakfast and dinner! the swimming pool was a great addition for both adults and children.

the room was not ready at the stated check-in time. we had to wait a while. also, there was no bottled water in the room and shower caps were missing from the bathroom.

The family room above the gym was a terrible choice. Constant banging from weights and doors made sleep impossible. A dripping shower head added to the frustration.
