live trees early starbucks

the lobby has live trees and seating areas. the elevator system uses a digital pad to select your floor, made trips quick. the valet was helpful and provided prompt service when i needed my car early. a starbucks is conveniently located across from the entrance and opens at 4:30am.

the hotel bar closed a bit early at 10pm on one night.

excellent location spacious layout

Check-in was quick. The room featured plenty of counter space and a spacious layout. I had breakfast and dinner. The staff accommodated a request for Nutella pancakes. The location is excellent! Area is walkable.

The gym was good, though detached! so I worried about disturbing anyone.

pleasant stay

dog treats room upgrade

omar assisted with a tv issue and moved us to a quieter room.. he helped us extend our stay in the same room. the hotel provided dog treats and bowls. ruven, the front desk supervisor, upgraded our room and was very helpful. the hotel's location is great.

the room was far, requiring too much walking. the view was of noisy streets instead of a garden. the air conditioning was loud and did not reduce humidity.

the portola king room included nice amenities. the bed was perfect.. sunrise water views were visible from the balcony. dispensers for soap and lotion were available.

the hotel is centrally located to the wharf and downtown. it is super easy to park and walk everywhere. the hotel is near a promenade with bike rentals. the marina is within walking distance.

the room included a small balcony. the gym had several treadmills. i found the lobby to be bright and huge.

the water pressure in the shower felt weak.
