charmed Stay
harbour view balcony view delicious meal
The staff was helpful throughout my visit. i secured a harbour view room with a balcony. The views of both the harbour and gardens were lovely. evening meals at the contessa restaurant proved consistently delicious. I also savored afternoon tea in the palm lounge, which i endorse fully.
Upon my arrival, assistance with luggage was absent. This set an initial tone. later, i requested a specific table during breakfast, but it was denied due to setup concerns.

The hotel ambassador, neville, was charming. His presence greatly enhanced the guest experience. reception staff were attentive and always ready with solutions. their dedication contributed positively to every interaction i encountered.

breakfast included a sumptuous buffet alongside cooked options available from a menu. staff ensured every need was met providing attentive and courteous service. the atmosphere enhanced each meal i had there making it all particularly enjoyable.

Decent stay, some issues
unreliable air conditioning disorganized breakfast
The air conditioning was UNRELIABLE. It struggled to cool the room effectively (even after setting the thermostat low). This made sleeping difficult at times. the breakfast service felt disorganized on several mornings. I often waited longer than expected for coffee and had to ask multiple times for items. Staff coordination seemed to be an issue.

really good stay!
excellent equipment daily cleaning themed nights
the room was excellently equipped and cleaned twice a day by an amazing staff! breakfast had a VERY good range of foods. the palm court lounge was well staffed with everything i needed. the outside pool area had excellent themed nights monday to friday!!!
my room had limited water views even though the location is near key attractions.

charmed stay
valet parking beach towels optimal shade
i was actually surprised by the valet parking it was a complimentary bonus. beach towels were provided daily by the doormen for our outings. the pool staff consistently adjusted umbrellas for optimal shade a thoughtful service.
the ac thermostat did not perform as expected. although set to a low temperature the room remained quite warm. this made sleeping a little uncomfortable despite the otherwise excellent room.

Decent Stay with a Few Misses
ineffective ac disorganized service
The AC in my room was not very effective. The thermostat could be set to 19 degrees, but the room remained warm. Breakfast service was a bit disorganized too. I had to ask for coffee multiple times and then waited for sugar and milk (it seemed like a chore).

poor quality expensive excursion
the restaurants offered very good menus and the service was attentive.
i found the advertised excursions to be quite poor. they reminded me of expensive, low-quality mass events, i complained, but the hotel did not address it or pass it on to the organizer.
