the room and bathroom were clean with great attention to detail. the staff were really friendly. breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty (i especially enjoyed the full english!). i would definitely stay again.

the location was a bit far from the city centre.

The room had fresh milk, much better than those UHT cartons. I found a large and convenient car park, very easy to access (always a plus). The tall trees sheltered a cool garden. Parasols offered a welcome sun trap. The location was presented beautifully, and all the staff were lovely.

The room lacked a bit of practicality, especially regarding the automatic sensors for the bathroom lighting near the toilet. It sometimes plunged me into darkness unexpectedly. The shower controls also required some experimentation to get the temperature right.

I booked a balcony room, but the balcony seemed neglected and old. It was disappointing, especially since it was spring. The room was noisy. I could hear a door slamming below until late, then again early in the morning. the waterfall shower had very low pressure. It barely dripped. Covers smelt like damp washing.
