convenient locationspacious roomstylish bathroomuncomfortable bedunavailable staffuncontrollable temperature
The location was really convenient. Close to the high street. i found the room spacious and clean. the bathroom had a stylish design.
The bed was not very comfortable (two single mattresses pushed together created a hard line). there was no staff on-site for assistance, an issue. the temperature in the room was difficult to control. It was very stuffy even with the heating off.

acceptable stay, some issues require attention

convenient locationscuffed wallleaking shower head
the location proved convenient, placing me near the train station which was beneficial for my travel arrangements.
The goldfinger room i occupied showed a clear need for refurbishment. I observed scuffed walls and chipped paintwork throughout. the shower head leaked, i tightened it but this was not a lasting repair. i noted a lack of convenient plug sockets near a mirror, which complicated hair drying.

The room was big and clean. Check-in was easy. I especially liked the full selection of tea and biscuits (it was a very nice touch).
There were no windows in my room, so fresh air was limited to a small toilet window. The cooking facilities lacked an oven. The cereal bowls were also very small.
