The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast offered a great variety, a plus. I was impressed with the special beer and cider festival . The hosts were cute.
The staircase to the room had low ceilings, a minor inconvenience in an otherwise lovely building.

the room was spacious and clean (always a good start). the breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful.
i found the owner to be a bit off-putting. he came across as sarcastic. the steak and ale pie was also bland.
