i found a great selection of beers available the room staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. the room was in easy driving distance of other towns and dartmoor. the garden out back was lovely and i was happy to find the place quite dog friendly.
plug points were an issue for charging up devices but overall it was fine

Excellent Stay for Coast to Coast Cycling

I stayed one night for the Rum and Reggae party in the beer garden. I enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and nice staff. The room is perfect for a couple or a solo traveler. This hotel provides a great stopover for the coast to coast cycle path.
The room felt slightly unloved. Plug points were an issue when charging up devices.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful, made my arrival smooth, though the parking was on the street close to the inn. the garden was very spacious. It was nice with the weather . the bed was comfortable, and the shower worked great.
The wifi was a little poor. It did not work properly.

The inn provides secure bicycle storage. This proved useful as I arrived cycling. I enjoyed the warm welcome and a restful pause. The room included real coffee and good bathroom products.
Tea and coffee supplies in the room was not replenished.
