Wonderful Hotel Experience
attentive staff clean bath convenient vending
The staff were attentive. They provided a souvenir gift for my visit. I enjoyed the public bath. It was very clean. Vending machines were on each floor, convenient.
The frosted windows made the atmosphere a little stuffy.

The room was larger than I expected, especially considering the central location. The bed was really comfortable! The shower was also great, and air conditioning worked perfectly. The staff were helpful and kind. They were always available.
I had to pay for early access. My room was ready anyway.

i was disappointed that the bath area had a foul SMELL. this detracted from the overall experience. ALSO, the staff seemed unaccommodating when i needed assistance.

a wonderful gem
delicious breakfast japanese food wonderful amenities perfect service
the breakfast amazed me. it included traditional japanese food and buffet options. the hotel and staff worked hard to provide a quality experience. the hotel is beautiful and elegant and has wonderful amenities. the service was perfect and the breakfast buffet was wonderfully crafted and offered great selections.
the location was a little tricky to find but it is on a quiet street.

the staff are sweet and considerate. ryosuke akita even arranged for an earring i lost to be sent to my next hotel after cleaning staff found it in my room. i greatly appreciated this helpful service.

large room many restaurants ample time
the room was quite large i had a double room as a single traveler. many restaurants are nearby a short walk leads to pontocho and gion. checkout is at 12pm giving ample time.
the laundry facilities were limited only two machines were available
