Adequate hotel with some drawbacks

I booked a Meliá Room for my stay. The room was clean. The breakfast was excellent and included a wide variety of fruits and cheeses. The hotel has an easy access to the beach.
The room walls seemed thin. I could hear noise from the corridor. There was no proper closing door for the toilet. It had a thumb-width gap. The hotel bar closes early at 7 p.m. on weekdays.

severe noise shower issue
the location was acceptable (though i suspect most locations would have been acceptable after the hassle i faced).
The noise was a major issue. Nikki beach club next door blasted music until the early hours, forcing me to buy earplugs from a supermarket just to sleep. the shower was equally dreadful. It alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold water with no in-between. i definitely didn't book a stay to experience a water torture device.

Excellent Stay with Great Amenities

The hotel boasts very clean rooms. I stayed in a junior suite with a sea view, a bath, and a balcony. The adult pool area was fantastic. It was very chilled. I found the staff were really nice too help me. Bruno, Cristina, and Angel were very helpful. The Level upgrade was worth it, especially if you want drinks and snacks throughout the day. Sun-beds were available. Breakfast had lovely, fresh ingredients. I had direct access to the beach, too.
The room did not have enough privacy. The shower is glass, and the toilet area had a noticeable gap and no window.

The hotel offers multiple pools. two pools open at 10 AM. I observed that sunbeds are available before this time. There is a third pool, but it opens later, sometimes around 11 AM or midday.

The breakfast buffet includes a wide variety of options. Everything was fresh and delicious. I noticed snacks were available all day.

The hotel staff was friendly. This added to my experience. The concierge was supportive, kind, and knowledgeable during my time at the hotel. Several staff members were really nice too assist me.

The hotel location is very convenient. There is a bus stop right at the hotel. I also observed that the bus takes you directly to the airport, and the hotel offers a shuttle service, too.
