dull courtyardrepetitive breakfast
I was expecting a bit more from my stay. The details really matter to me. our room overlooked a rather dull courtyard, something of a letdown considering the hotel's location. i also found the breakfast buffet somewhat repetitive. it had all the essentials, though it didn't introduce enough variety to excite my palate each morning, i wish they offered more options for those staying multiple nights.

I find this a really good stay. The location of this palace is perfect. It's just steps away from every attraction. I find the staff always helpful with recommendations of things to visit. Turn down service is luxurious and includes bedside slippers.
The main lobby is somewhat underwhelming when entering from the street. I expected more from the entrance.

An Admirable Stay

convenient locationreally good staffadjusted reservation
The location was convenient, being just a short walk from the opera house. Several public transport stops nearby simplified moving around different districts (which I liked a lot). The staff at the front desk and concierge were helpful. Herr Fischer assisted us with directions and adjusted our dinner reservations upon our arrival.
The minibar prices were noticeably high.
Dining

The breakfast buffet offered many choices. The famous Imperial torte was arranged during breakfast. The café provides a relaxed setting with excellent service, and the bar is perfect for evening drinks (the cocktails are great!).
Location

The hotel's location offers easy access to major attractions. The opera house is within walking distance, great for opera lovers. Shopping areas are located across the street, with a short, one-minute walk.
Rooms

Our beautiful king room was spacious. The bathroom featured a deep and long tub, almost NBA star-sized. The closet area provided space for a large wardrobe and the bed offered firm support with feather-soft bedding.
