attentive staff sharing platters comfortable room low ceiling cold bar fire alarm
staff members were very attentive. we enjoyed sharing platters in the bar, the atmosphere was relaxing. the room was beautiful and in keeping with the castle decor, it was very comfortable.
the bedroom ceiling was too low, it was a head hazard. the bar area felt very cold. a fire alarm went off early in the morning.

Really good Stay in a Historic Setting
comfortable furniture courtyard parking christmas decorations
Our room had comfortable furniture and was super clean. The security of the courtyard parking, visible from our room, was especially appreciated given we traveled on motorbikes. Breakfast offered a nice selection of continental and full English options.. The Christmas decorations added a special touch.
I found that some noise traveled easily. There was noise from other guests in the night.

The staff was attentive and happy, delivering excellent service throughout our visit. We noted friendly service at reception and the bar, and staff were quick to fix problems, such as dinner reservations.

Our room included tea and coffee facilities, bottled water, drinking chocolate, and biscuits. The castle mews room was very comfortable and clean, offering a relaxing environment. Bathrobes were a luxurious bonus.

The staff gave me a castle classic room. the room featured comfortable furniture and historic decorations. i noted the excellent shower pressure in the bathroom. It was consistent.
the room lighting was quite dim though.

excellent staff great food dated decor little space
The staff was excellent. the food in the restaurant was also great. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast selection. there was a wide variety of options, and everything tasted fresh.
the room decor seemed a bit dated. i noticed some woodchip wallpaper and what i would consider outdated curtains. the bathroom lacked adequate storage. there was very little space to put toiletries or hang clothes.
