the food was acceptable.

i found the thin windows to be a problem. the street noise was very disruptive at night. i would expect better sound insulation in a hotel of this supposed standard.

The breakfast was delicious. Food was excellent value for money. Staff were very friendly. They did above and beyond. I enjoyed the lovely full English breakfast, staff really know how to do a lightly poached egg properly!

My room was clean though a little tired in places. The duvet was very heavy. I didn't sleep as well as I'd hoped. The window only opened a little..
