the staff was very friendly and helpful. the food was excellent, i found the drinks amazing!!! the atmosphere was cosy and cute. i particularly enjoyed the decor, and the extra information about the history of the hotel and our room.
the carpets was very small. it was difficult to get into the hotel, the owner blocked us after check out. he didn't apologise, but complained someone had taken the space wanted.

i stayed one night. the building is well run. my room was warm , super clean and very spacious. the dinner menu offered perfect choices, and the food tasted delicious. the breakfast menu included many options. fresh, hot food was cooked to order , which i appreciated.
the lighting in the room was not great , especially with only a small window and no proper dressing table mirror.

the breakfast area WAS nice and offered generous portions.
The macerating toilet in the bathroom had an unbearable smell. I HAD to use the bathroom quickly. with the door closed, the smell did not fill the bedroom.

the walled beer garden was acceptable.
the bathroom toilet was a macerating type and produced an unbearable smell. i don't know if the blockage came from the previous guest or if it's always like that. thankfully, the smell didn't spread to the bedroom when the door was closed, but i had to use the bathroom quickly. the room was also uncomfortably hot, even with the window open and the fan on. more powerful fans are needed during hot months.

the food was great AND there were plenty of choices. I easily found parking each night of my stay, even when the courtyard was full. Staff were always helpful and friendly, EVEN the newer ones who were learning.
the carpets WAS very small and difficult to get into.
