adequate stay with minor drawbacks

convenient location firm bed nearby starbucks poor marking strict check-in uncomfortable pillow

the location was convenient. it was easy to walk to the metro. a starbucks was located downstairs. the beds were quite firm, which i prefer.

the hotel was difficult to find and not well marked. i arrived at 2:41 pm for a 6 nights stay. the staff insisted i wait until 3 pm to check in. the pillows were very uncomfortable.

the staff offered really good service. the room was spacious and beautifully appointed. the hotel's location was convenient, close to numerous eateries and shopping areas.

the gym facilities required an additional fee, unexpected.

The staff was very helpful. They ensured cleanliness daily.

The location was NOT convenient to the metro. The interior seemed quite dated to me. The toilet wasn't separated from the bathroom, which i found disappointing.

a amazing stay!

fine view spacious room thoughtful newspaper

I really appreciated the fine view from the 29th floor. the room was spacious. The bathroom offered both a shower and a bathtub. receiving "the japan times" each morning outside my door was very thoughtful and unexpected. it was a charmed surprise!!!

the hotel was slightly difficult to locate initially, as the markings could be improved.

The hotel connects directly to the umeda arts theatre. The theatre mainly stages takarazuka revue performances. i found the entrance next to the theatre more convenient than the main entrance facing the main street. it's awesome!!!

The hotel is a long-standing five-star hotel with really good service. the room decor showed some age. It was very clean. guerlain bath products were provided which added a luxurious touch to my stay.
