the location was convenient. it was easy to walk to the metro. a starbucks was located downstairs. the beds were quite firm, which i prefer.

the hotel was difficult to find and not well marked. i arrived at 2:41 pm for a 6 nights stay. the staff insisted i wait until 3 pm to check in. the pillows were very uncomfortable.

I really appreciated the fine view from the 29th floor. the room was spacious. The bathroom offered both a shower and a bathtub. receiving "the japan times" each morning outside my door was very thoughtful and unexpected. it was a charmed surprise!!!

the hotel was slightly difficult to locate initially, as the markings could be improved.

The hotel connects directly to the umeda arts theatre. The theatre mainly stages takarazuka revue performances. i found the entrance next to the theatre more convenient than the main entrance facing the main street. it's awesome!!!

The hotel is a long-standing five-star hotel with really good service. the room decor showed some age. It was very clean. guerlain bath products were provided which added a luxurious touch to my stay.
