mostly positive stay

helpful staff high quality excellent breakfast peeling paint rusty radiators rattling windows
the staff was very helpful and. the room had all the things i needed. the breakfast was excellent and the ingredients were of a high quality (especially the eggs!).
i find the reviews very misleading because the higher reviews tend to relate to the restaurant. there was peeling paint, ripped blinds and rusty radiators. the windows rattled so much i couldn't sleep, and water came in when it rained.

adequate but with issues

unfixed tap partial refund
the sink tap had a technical issue when i arrived and it remained unfixed throughout my stay (it was quite frustrating). i informed the hotel, but they didn't address it at all. this was very disappointing. i really think a partial refund would have been fair given the circumstances.
