adequate stay with service issues

inattentive staff limited breakfast

The staff wasn't always attentive. I felt a disconnect with some members at reception. also, i found the breakfast options somewhat limited. there were only a few choices, and they didn't change much . the taste was okay, but it lacked variety. I expected more from a hotel of this supposed caliber.

Excellent Location and Cleanliness

great location clean room modern amenities

The location was superb. It was within easy walking distance to many attractions. I liked its proximity to the Ginza main shopping areas. The room was bigger than normal hotels I've seen. The room was modern and clean with great amenities.

The room did have some noticeable wear. The carpet showed visible signs of use.

slow check-in no porter

the room was quite spacious for a japanese hotel room, so it met my expectations.

check in was a hassle, even though it was after 3 pm. the staff did not seem keen to give us the room right away. also, there weren't any porters around to help with luggage, a problem when checking out.

mixed experience

communication issue luggage assistance

the staff seemed rather disorganized. when i asked for a taxi to be booked ahead of time (a common request, i thought), there looked to be some confusion and delays. the biggest issue was a lack of communication. (why couldn't they just tell me it was not possible?). also, i wasn't offered any help with my luggage, which i found odd. (maybe i looked capable?)
