attentive staff clean sheets afternoon tea
the staff was attentive and plentiful. beautifully clean sheets and towels added to the comfort. the hotel design incorporated traditional elements. afternoon tea overlooked the lake.
the wi-fi signal was weak in some areas.

a restful stay
warm reception excellent food great route
Arriving after a long journey, the reception was warm. I particularly appreciated the refreshing drink. the food was excellent (i enjoyed the naan bread a lot). excursions were easily arranged by surabhai, and she accompanied us to the houseboat to ensure everything went smoothly. the houseboat trip included a great route through the backwaters and fresh prawns for lunch.
I found that the staff training could be better.

mostly positive experience
dance shows evening shows immaculate grounds equipped bedroom no bar staff training boat ride
the traditional dance shows were enjoyable each evening i saw. the grounds was immaculate . i thought the bedroom was well equipped.
i noticed there was no bar on the location. i felt the staff training could be improved. the boat ride broke down and that was disappointing.

well-decorated room gym equipment broken boat ride wedding reservation
the rooms were well-decorated (a nice touch, i thought) and the view overlooked the lake. during my stay, i used the gymwith very good equipment, and the spa offered expertly applied massages.
the boat ride broke down, and they tried to reschedule it at the same time on another day. i was told to come back later because it was reserved for a wedding party (a bit disappointing).
