Adequate Stay with Minor Issues

overcooked steak insufficient space

The dinner service fell short of expectations. MY steak was overcooked. Breakfast presentation looked nice, but the quality was not excellent (especially considering the price). Space at the breakfast tables proved insufficient. A larger surface would improve the dining experience considerably.

charming stay with thoughtful touches

refurbished accommodation thoughtful touches cosy atmosphere lovely garden

the accommodation was beautifully refurbished. i found many extra touches, for example, orange juice in the mini fridge and home-baked shortbread (so delicious!). breakfast and dinner were lovely. the pub's cosy atmosphere was a great bonus, and the garden provided a space for drinks and games. it was a great spot for rest.

Really good stay!

easy parking gluten-free options spacious room

The parking was easy. MANY spaces were available. The food was AMAZING!!! I especially liked the gluten-free options. Our room felt spacious, and the bathroom was gorgeous.

disappointing food small table

the FOOD was disappointing. my evening meal was acceptable but my wife wasnt very happy with her fish. breakfast was nicely presented but a little disappointing. the worst part was trying to have breakfast at one of the tables set for two people. it was just too small.

great stop in the country

lovely staff fresh milk

staff showed i them plants in the garden. breakfast was great and served by a helpful guy. i also like the fresh milk in the fridge, it was nice.

the rooms is comfortable. i see nice homemade biscuits, juice and water in the fridge. hot water bottles are in there also, good. the bathroom look gorgeous.

the garden area is lovely. i had a pre-dinner drink there and finished my wine. the pub garden look nice too. breakfast include homemade biscuits and fresh milk.
