double doors lovely grounds full english

my room had double doors. they went out into the grounds. it was perfect for my dog. breakfast was excellent and my husband loved the full english.

the food needed a little more flavor. i shall return in spring to see the grounds.

really good staff good bar big depression car suspension

the staff were great. they happily provided room service even though my charming room was up in the loft. the bar and restaurant were both good.

the driveway through the gates had big depressions. this really tested my car suspension. also, the room didn't have air conditioning, so it was difficult to keep it cool.

thick dust dirty kettle

the staff was very helpful and friendly. rooms had good size and sufficient storage.

the room was not properly cleaned. i found thick dust in several places. the kettle still had water in it (a big no-no, i think).
