the room upgrade at arrival was a pleasant surprise. the room featured a lovely decking area with a table and chairs overlooking the water and playground. the hotel offered accessible parking with e-charging points, a definite plus for electric vehicle owners. i found the staff friendly and the service prompt..

the room felt a little stuffy, and i couldn't find any air conditioning unit.

It had amazing views of the river slaney. breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. i will try to visit the spa next time, because it was fully booked this visit. the staff were friendly and helpful.

The windows need better cleaning. They were very dirty despite the beautiful location. I was also disappointed with the food quality relative to the price. My meal cost 19.95, but the portion sizes did not justify the expense. the staff should check and clean under the bunk beds more often. It was clear they had not been cleaned in a while.

The breakfast included good food and numerous choices. The dinner had many menu options and the food was well cooked. I had dinner both nights at the bar and really liked the nautical theme. The ambience of the bar was great too

I found something disgusting on the radiator on my first morning. I had to get cleaning down to remove a snot. The family room was the smallest family room I have honestly ever stayed in. It was like staying in a caravan
