I found the staff cute and helpful . My room was spacious and well-equipped. Breakfast offered a delicious and varied selection, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The location proved ideal for exploring Northumberland, with easy access to key attractions.
The bathroom taps needed a bit of cleaning.

the location had very well maintained grounds. the room was clean and also felt comfortable. i ate a full english breakfast, good.

Really good Service and Beautiful Grounds

maintained grounds interior decoration comfortable chairs
The grounds were well-kept. I saw wonderful flowers and mature trees. Interior decoration included original ceilings and other features. I found many top-quality paintings and plenty of comfortable chairs in communal areas. The restaurant food was very good. I enjoyed my time at the Library Bar.
I noticed a slight delay in receiving my requested newspaper one morning.

Food at dinner was very good. The dinner menu offered a varied selection. Breakfast had a generous spread of items. I saw a lot of fresh fruit. I enjoyed the freshly baked pastries. I had a tasty full English.
