ice machine basic toiletries
I found a few things less than stellar. The ice machine was out of service, a real bummer after a long day. the toiletries were pretty basic. I mean, come on, its 2024. Can't we get some decent shampoo?

a decent experience
spacious room nice decor friendly staff poor soundproofing noisy room additional cost
the room felt spacious. it included nice decor. staff i met were friendly. the hotel is near the abbey.
soundproofing between rooms felt inadequate. our friends in the next room could not sleep well. they also had to complain about the tv in the room below. breakfast had an additional cost.

quality food excellent service spacious room
The dinner and breakfast food shows excellent quality. The service stands out too. My spacious room mixes modern and traditional aspects nicely.
I found the soundproofing between rooms less effective. I could hear some noise.
