Excellent Stay at this Hotel

double bedsingle bedsgood linenpoor welcome
The family room was spacious. It featured a lovely double bed and two single beds. Linens felt so good, with ample room and ventilation. I adored that the beer garden was near the great breakfast and ala carte evening meal in the pub.
The cute at the reception was not very good. The gentleman at reception said that no one was available to take my luggage.
Location

The hotel is close to Hadrian's Wall. It also sits near Cragside. The Scottish border is not far. So many walks are accessible around the area.
Rooms

The room was comfy and well furnished. Free fruit was a nice touch. Bedrooms are clean as new, with comfy beds and quality bedding. Windows open in the room, so there is no need to rely on air conditioning.
Service

The staff are friendly and efficient. The reception, bar, and waiting staff was very friendly. Atmosphere feels cute with calm, pleasant, and attentive staff. Breakfast offered plenty of choice.

Good Lodge Stay and Exquisite Dining

generous spaceclean roomcomfortable lodgelovely location
Our lodge stay extended over two nights. The space felt very generous. The accommodation was nice and neat. It included every possible necessity. The location proved lovely for exploration, placing us amid Northumberland's appealing sights. I also appreciated our family celebration.
The customer service could have been more responsive following a lost item.
Dining
9/10
The breakfast included homemade black pudding. The dinner menus showcased diverse culinary options. Each dish had beautiful presentation and was beautifully cooked. The food tasted very fresh. I found some dishes really good. The beef cheek, for instance, really stood out.
