charming retreat

clean room friendly staff range choices great location

the room was very clean. the staff was friendly and accommodating to my requests. i appreciated the range of choices at breakfast. the hotel has fantastic grounds and a great location.

The hotel is a bit worn. It could benefit from some modern updates .

The grounds leading to the hotel are well maintained. The hotel is warm and cute. The staff were very friendly and professional (they really made the difference). The food at breakfast was tasty, fresh, and well cooked. I liked the plentiful buffet-style breakfast.

The corridor carpet on my floor looked quite dirty.

Quiet stay with excellent service

helpful staff tasty lunch comfortable room fine frontage

I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. I enjoyed a tasty lunch and a very good evening meal. The room was warm and quite comfortable. I particularly appreciated the selection of malt whisky at the bar! The building frontage is fine.

I noticed that the decor was a bit tired in places.

The room was equipped with standard amenities, like a television with multiple channels and tea and coffee making facilities. A very nice view could be seen from the window, and two chairs provided a place to sit. The bathroom was clean, with fresh towels.

ample selection clean pool comfortable temperature

The breakfast selection included many choices. The buffet offered both hot and cold items, and a chef prepared omelets to order. I also used the swimming pool, it was clean and well kept. NEW towels were available, and the water temperature was comfortable.

The elevator made a strange NOISE sometimes.
