great breakfast local information

the breakfast was excellent with so many choices, a great start to my days. the porter gave us lots of local information, he was enthusiastic about the village and a pleasure to meet.

The only issue i had was with the instant coffee provided in the room. I would have really expected a coffee machine! it's a small detail, but fresh coffee would have elevated the experience even more.

The hotel has a library bar, a peaceful relaxing venue to finish the night. I thoroughly enjoyed spending my evenings there! new year's eve featured a little dance party.

My terrace suite had commanding views over the town and also the chateau ramparts. It was spacious, clean, and well maintained. french doors opened onto a private patio, while the windows opened easily allowing fresh air.

every member of staff made us very welcome, so attentive! i also received a bottle of champagne with a lovely hand written note and a towel sculpture for my anniversary. they were amazing.

the hotel is picturesque. staff are available and very helpful. beds are comfortable, and the food is delicious. the surrounding town is great to explore. i really appreciated the clean room and the hotel amenities. also, breakfast was plentiful.

The hotel offers a private electric car service from the dedicated parking area outside the city walls. My suite included French doors that opened to a private patio. Windows in the suite opened easily, providing fresh air. Breakfast included eggs cooked to order, a plus.

The spa tub had water issues. It stopped working after twenty minutes.

amazing hotel experience!

beautiful atmosphere attentive staff excellent location

The staff delivered an atmosphere beyond expectations. i found they were great. I even plan to return next year! the position inside the castle walls was fantastic, offering easy access to historical sites. the hotel delivered beyond what i expected. It was nice!!!

no normal tea and coffee were available, only instant options in the rooms. also, i found no biscuits were provided, unexpected for this level of accommodation.

The location is wonderful. The hotel is right inside the walled city. the breakfast pastry was top tier. It was the best from my whole trip.
