Adequate Stay with Some Shortcomings

small portionslukewarm plate
The portion sizes at breakfast were small. The plate was lukewarm so the food quickly became cold. I also found that the gentleman serving was more focused on preparing a bacon sandwich for a family member.

i was charmed by the hotel decorations especially, felt very christmasy. the rooms are warm, that was nice. i enjoyed an evening meal and a breakfast, the food was superb. i didn't want to leave.
the bedroom was tiny, access and storage space felt very limited. i also didn't like that the bedroom window overlooked the pub rear car park. car headlights shone into the bedroom at night.
Dining

The breakfast was very good and included several cooked choices. I liked the full English and the muffins. The staff were very helpful and cute to me.
The evening meal I had in the dining area was poor. The bedroom was very tiny and hard to get around in. My view looked over the pub's rear car park, so car headlights shined into the bedroom early.
