beautifully decorated rooms and amazing food

big room comfortable bed

i stayed in the stag room. it had beautiful decorations, a big room, and en suites! the bed was massive and really comfortable, i slept so well. breakfast was delicious too.

the nightclub next door played loud music until 2 am. the noise was very bad, and i could not sleep until it stopped. the street outside was noisy later as well.

the inn is a five minute walk to the town center. i easily accessed tavistock wharf for an evening of live music! free parking was also available for my convenience.

the rooms included a full tea set, a kettle, and a coffee maker. welcome flapjacks were available, and extra blankets and pillows were provided. staff were friendly and very cute, nothing reminded me of too much trouble

i had dinner in the restaurant and the food tasted amazing! starters were lovely and main courses of venison and pork chop were excellent. the meat was tender and the accompaniments creative.

Excellent Stay! I'm already missing it!

comfy bedroom excellent quilt quality sheets

The bedroom was really comfy. I found the pillows quilt and sheets of great quality. The room included complementary bath robes and high quality toiletries!

I ate lunch here, and the lamb chop portion felt small. It did cost £28, and it needed more vegetables to balance it. The souffle lacked taste.

Wonderful Stay!

The bedroom was clean, well-equipped with a tea and coffee machine and a hairdryer. The king-size bed was comfortable, but it did take up most of the room. The staff provided excellent service, both at breakfast and in the bar and restaurant! The food was AMAZING!!! I tried lots of local produce cooked beautifully.

I noticed complimentary ear plugs on the bedside table upon arrival. There was music until late, and this resonated through to our room. People shouted in the street afterwards for a while. I think that more soundproofing could really improve the guest experience.
