check-in was handled without issues. it was efficient.

the shower had inconsistent temperature control, difficult to find a comfortable setting. additionally, the room decor seemed outdated (tasseled curtains), appearing to come from the 1970s. the dining room ceiling looked equally unattractive.

I enjoyed my stay. the complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the quality was excellent. i also found the room service menu quite extensive with quick delivery. plus, the location was ideal. It was a short walk to several major attractions.

The wifi signal was sometimes weak in my room. It made streaming difficult.

the promised upgrade did not materialize. i found this quite irritating given the premium price i paid. there was no acknowledgment of my loyalty or any attempt to rectify the situation, i consider this poor customer service.

The team was kind. A special mention goes to Israel and the South African lady at reception. They were admirable. The hotel location was excellent, very tranquil, and the pianist played in the bar each evening.

The provided dog beds in the room created a cute environment. Fresh chicken and vegetables were available on the dog food menu. It included rice with beef and fish options too. Berkeley Square is a short walk away, close to the hotel.

I found it difficult to secure a table at the bar one evening.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. the location was fantastic. Many attractions, restaurants, cafes and shops were so close.

There was no nespresso machine in the room. Instead, instant filter coffee was offered. the selection of teas was not enough, and i thought they were not beautifully arranged.
