this hotel delivered on all fronts! i had multiple parking spots to pick from and that was so convenient. i discovered that the hotel is wonderfully dog-friendly, my dog received treats upon arrival, a lovely touch! the staff was friendly and helpful and. my breakfast in the room was also delicious, every detail was attended to.

this made transporting luggage a bit more challenging, especially after a long day of travel. it's a very minor point, but worth noting for those with mobility issues.

The hotel sits near the ruins of a 13th-century fortress. Accessing it directly from the hotel was a real plus. i stayed in a superior double room. It was spacious. the restaurant provided good food, and the bar had a variety of drink selections.

the hotel does not have air conditioning and the shower water didn't heat up adequately in the morning.
