Excellent Stay with Great Service
beautiful grounds amazing experience comfortable furnishings
This hotel features beautiful grounds. The dining room offered an amazing experience. Our room included comfortable furnishings and plenty of space for relaxation (I liked the decor!).
Some aspects of the hotel could use a little freshening up. this did not significantly impact my stay.

The staff members were cheerful and cute to all guests. They were also dignified and professional in their interactions. The front desk was very helpful with all requests and inquiries.

attentive staff breakfast buffet free bikes helpful service
I found the staff attentive. They were very helpful with every need. The breakfast buffet provided much variety. The free bikes allowed us to explore locality, it was quite convinient.
The hotel did not have a varied selection of wine from the region in the bar.

The hotel offers great views, it is very historic. The surrounding area has beautiful landscapes and you can also cycle here. The hotel's location is quiet and relaxing.

A lovely swimming pool provided an option for a morning dip. There are also tennis and paddle courts on-site. Breakfast includes pretty much everything one might want. It is at the top.

threadbare carpets confused receptionist
The breakfast was very good. The dinner, too, was excellent!!!
Carpets in the room and around the building were threadbare. Holes were visible. The service was not five-star. At 1 am, the receptionist seemed confused about my reservation. I found that REALLY annoying.

tiny room unfriendly staff
The room i received did not resemble the pictures online. It was in the pavilion area, not the castle. a very high stair existed and no assistance with luggage was available. the room was very tiny. staff were not particularly friendly, and just did their jobs without warmth.

underwhelming experience
chipped bathtub missing plug
the grounds were pretty, a pleasant place for a brief walk after breakfast.
The room i was given felt quite dated. the bathroom sink lacked a plug, inconvenient, and the bathtub showed noticeable chipping. i also observed chipped paint on the door and window frames. This lack of maintenance was surprising considering the price (it's like they don't care).

Acceptable but could be better
small room stale items
The location made exploring the Loire Valley easy. I also found the chateau itself to be quite attractive.
The room size was quite small. The air conditioning did not seem to work properly (and it was not even cold outside). The breakfast buffet, while offering variety, included some items that seemed stale.
