charming stay
attentive staffexcellent mealwine service
the staff were attentive and helpful . the meals paired with wine service were excellent (I recommend trying the local selections). i found the food to be among the best i have had in france, a true highlight of my trip.
the pool was a bit too warm for my preference at 28 degrees celsius.

The staff was super helpful. They showed me all the facilities. i found easy parking close by. It was simple. the restaurant onsite was superb. i loved the attentive service. the rooms were furnished tastefully and individually with treats thrown in
the sauna needed to be scheduled so i kept that in mind.

I found some aspects of my stay disappointing. The dinner service felt a bit disorganized. The staff did not seem knowledgeable about the wine list. The charcuterie and cheese appetizer lacked quality, items reappeared at breakfast the next day.

A mixed bag of experiences.
tough steakdifferent menu
The dinner at the bistro felt disappointing. I was seated there even though the main dining room seemed available. I had hoped for fish, BUT the menu I received listed none. My steak proved tough. The waiter just suggested I cut harder. Eventually, he offered another menu with fish, which I then ordered. The fish was good though. It made me wonder why I didn't get THAT menu to begin with. IT felt exclusionary.

the spacious room had comfortable pillows and a mattress.
The staff were not friendly, and the price of the meal felt excessive. All accesses were closed the next morning, and no one was at reception when i announced that i had to leave at 06:00.

the dinner was a letdown. i was expecting a lot more for the price. the service was also a bit cold. i found the staff to be rather businesslike and not particularly friendly. this impacted my overall experience.
