the superior double room had air conditioning. a minibar with soft drinks was included. the reception staff were courteous. (i especially liked the efficient check-in.)

Really good service and prime location

convenient taxi stand breakfast options attentive staff

I found the taxi stand conveniently across from the entrance. Transport was very accessible. The rooms have in-room breakfast options, which I thought was a great touch. The staff was really good. Their attentiveness added to the experience. I received welcome drink vouchers upon arrival. These vouchers were usable at the hotel bar.

The abundance of plastic flowers throughout the hotel was not what I expected, I'd have preferred none at all.

The room included a spacious layout, decorated traditionally. It was warm. A beautiful view towards the castle enhanced the experience. I really appreciated the traditional Austrian decor. It was like stepping back in time.

comfortable room three nights extra fee church bells

the room proved quite comfortable for my stay of three nights.

i was disappointed they charged me a 10% fee to make a dinner reservation at the fortress, a service i expected to be complimentary. also, the church bells rang loudly every morning at 6am, a rude awakening.

Nice Stay in a Historic Setting

perfect service quiet atmosphere hot water easy access

The staff provided perfect service throughout my visit. My room featured a quiet atmosphere. It also had hot running water in the wondrous bathroom. The location allowed easy access to attractions. I appreciated the short walk to everywhere.

I noticed the hotel does not have parking on site as advertised. They offer valet parking for a fee. There is a discount for self parking down the street.

The lobby features gorgeous appointments. The hotel offers free non-alcoholic beverages in the mini bar. A towel heater provided extra comfort in the bathroom. The views from the hotel included Mozart's house.

The staff provided excellent assistance from arrival. My room was a single room and it was well-kept. Breakfast offered diverse options with attentive service. A taxi stand across the street offered transport.

The hotel lacked on-site parking so i used valet parking, which cost extra per day.

stained carpet low shower pressure

the location was acceptable i suppose as i could walk to most places i needed.

the room looked pretty tired i have to say and it was not properly cleaned. the carpet had some stains on it and the bathroom had hairs which weren't mine. also, the shower pressure was very low, it made it hard to wash away the soap.

the central location was fantastic, perfect for exploring. the staff provided great service and were always helpful. the included breakfast had many choices and fresh ingredients. i found the shower to be wonderful.

the bells are loud early in the morning! so if you enjoy sleeping in, it may not be the most ideal.
