decent location, some issues

poor shower missing trim

the location near the train station was a bonus (it made travel easier).

the shower pressure was very poor. trim pieces were also missing from the shower frame. i also noticed grubby paint on the woodwork in the bedroom. it all felt a little uncared for and not worth the price.

i had a lovely lunch. the peppercorn sauce with my steak was great. my daughter had the buddha bowl with salmon. barbara was very attentive (i really appreciated it).

i found the bar area uninviting. the food was good but lukewarm. the hotel offered nescafe coffee sachets with uht milk (not great).

the hotel is directly on the beach. my room included a sea view. the staff throughout my stay were excellent and friendly.

the bar service seemed surly, with no smile or hospitality. hours later, i found my table in the lounge had not been cleaned. the room felt small and did not offer great value.

The room included a neat tea and coffee making area. there were high-quality fittings in both the bed and the spacious bathroom (i especially liked the shower). the staff were cheerful and helpful. They enhanced my stay.

the noise was quite loud and it disrupted my otherwise calm environment. i hope this situation is temporary.

the hotel sits on a beautiful spot directly on the beach. guests can easily walk straight onto the beach from the hotel. also, its proximity to the train station was very convenient for my travel arrangements.
