the location proved advantageous for local exploration.

breakfast service lacked coordination between the front-of-house staff and the kitchen. meals were incorrectly served , and my meal arrived twenty minutes after my partner finished eating. the bedroom curtains were detached from the rail at one end , allowing light to disrupt sleep.

i was a bit disappointed that our room's curtains were damaged. they were hanging off the rail at one end and let in a lot of light. THIS disrupted my sleep a little. there was some confusion with breakfast service. i got the wrong meal. this did not meet my expectations for a hotel of this level.

hanging curtainsdisrupted sleep

The room I got was a bit of a letdown since the curtains seemed to be staging their own escape from the rail at one end. Sunlight decided to crash the party earlier than expected, so sleep suffered. breakfast service was a comedy of errors, clearly the kitchen and front-of-house staff were not on speaking terms. Meals went to the wrong people, and one of us had long finished eating before the other even got served. What a good start for such an allegedly fancy place
