the hotel decorations looked beautiful, especially for the festive season. it was great the hotel was child friendly, yet not child focused. emma, the restaurant server, showed friendliness and interacted with the children. the children's buffet was definitely a hit with my family.
there were only three teabags available in the room plus no toiletries other than soap

The hotel charged my card £32 for a bottle of Prosecco without my knowledge. I consider this a rip off. This bottle retails for £5.99 at a supermarket and the staff did not check if I approved the charge.

The room was clean. Staff at reception were helpful. Breakfast offered good choices of well prepared food. The service during the morning was slick. I found ample charging points at the side of the bed. Mugs in the room beat cups. Sweets were available in reception. All areas were immaculate.
The sports bar wasn't a nice place to grab lunch. A heads up would have helped.

the breakfast had many fresh, high-quality options. it catered to different tastes with both classic continental and full english selections. rooms had air conditioning and mini bars. the toiletries provided were also nice.
tee areas on all the golf holes were not good. i have played golf for over 40 years and these were the worst i have encountered. i wanted a buggy, but none were available due to a corporate day. one person in our group was disabled and could not play that day.

the bar staff offered helpful service during busy times. harry, from the bar, remembered us. he provided great service and always greeted us with a smile. our upgraded suite had a mini bar and a great view of the golf course.
there were many speed bumps on the long drive to the hotel.
