high ceilings breakfast menu friendly staff dusty lamp lukewarm water small fan heater
The room was spacious with high ceilings. i loved the complimentary sloe gin and chocolates. What a treat! the staff were friendly and showed me to my room. the breakfast menu was very good. It even had smoked salmon and poached eggs.
There was dust over the lamp in the room. Not ideal. i had to ask for heating. I was brought a small fan heater. the water was only lukewarm. Not very pleasant.

some issues
bathroom smell noisy delivery
i was a bit frustrated. the bathroom had a noticeable smell, and i also saw multiple dark hairs in the shower. the cleaner definitely missed some mould on the sealant. the barmaid didn't even bother to check if i could order fish and chips at dinner, though thankfully the chef agreed, and it was good. the worst part was being woken up by the noisy brewery delivery early in the morning.

amazing breakfast good buffet excellent location broken toilet seat damaged paintwork hanging curtain
the breakfast was amazing!!! there were so many choices offered. the room was clean and attractive, i really liked that. the location was excellent for sightseeing in the area.
My room needed some tlc. The curtain was hanging down. the toilet seat was broken and that was quite annoying. there was also some damage to the paintwork.

friendly staff room interiors quality ingredients cold room leaking shower broken toilet seat
The staff were very helpful and friendly . My room had nice interiors with touches you'd usually find at a higher price. Breakfast included quality ingredients and was fresh (I enjoyed the selection).
My room was quite cold. The windows were old. The shower leaked continuously. This was a bit of a nuisance. the toilet seat was broken (I hope they fix it soon).
