Lee spoke with me prior to my arrival. Nicole offered extended kitchen hours for our late meal with local friends. Our friends received a warm welcome upon arrival. Nicole prepared a tasty meal, and we brought our own wine.

The room I got was located closely to the lounge area, it was accessible to all campers so it was noisy.

meeting international tourists was great! hikers and tent campers created a very diverse environment. the communal area was cute, like a home away from home. i appreciated the dog friendly atmosphere and the warmth of the log burner.

the noise from upstairs was noticeable as my room was directly beneath the stairs. this sometimes made it difficult to relax in the evenings or early mornings. i hope the hotel considers soundproofing the area near the stairs

i cherished the feeling of community there. the rural setting soothed me. the toilets were clean, and it made my soul sing. i look forward to return to this special haven someday.

the breakfast was simple, it was not a big problem.

The tent we were given smelled like urine. I found an old puddle of urine when I lifted the inflatable mattress the next morning. There were not enough bathrooms for the number of guests. I wish this had been better.
