uninspiring view complex lighting
I was a bit let down by certain aspects. My room faced a less than inspiring view of neighboring walls. The lighting system was also overly complex (it took me a while to figure it out).

underwhelming stay, some hits, many misses
brick wall sewage smell
my stay wasn't great, to be honest. the room faced a brick wall, a real bummer. also, there was a weird sewage smell coming from the shower, definitely not a plus. i expected better for the price i paid. it seemed like the hotel is starting to show its age.

large variety helpful staff convenient perk
I found the breakfast to be great. there was a large variety of options (i especially liked the danishes). the staff was excellent. I noticed how helpful bank was . the complimentary tuk tuk was a convenient perk to travel in the city.
the entrance to the hotel felt a little dark and the access route was somewhat confusing (it was a minor inconvenience).

clean room breakfast selections fresh fruit relaxing atmosphere
the hotel was clean. i found the room to have attention to detail. the breakfast selections included fresh fruits and smoothies. the ambience promoted relaxation, i stayed a week enjoying the atmosphere.
i did notice occasional noise from nearby properties.

Amazing stay!
fresh pastries comfortable bed
The breakfast included fresh pastries and coconut water! The room was super clean and the bed felt very comfortable. I cannot recommend it more. We will be back!

decent stay overall
great spread tropical fruits metal drinking bottle strong air conditioning vibrating noise nonexistent soundproofing
the breakfast had a great spread. i particularly loved the tropical fruits on offer. the room felt calm. the hotel gifted me a metal drinking bottle for their 10 year anniversary, a kind gesture.
the air conditioning in the common areas felt too strong. the room's air conditioning made a horrible vibrating noise. this vibration even made the bed shake. the soundproofing was nonexistent both inside and outside.
