I found the staff very friendly and helpful . the room i had was tastefully decorated with a comfy bed. the shower worked perfectly, with good pressure and temperature. breakfast was really nice, especially with the choice available for different dietary needs. They accommodated my dairy allergy with oat milk and dairy-free spread.

Excellent Dog-Friendly Stay

dog-friendly setup great atmosphere
I found everything set up wonderfully for dogs, though the experience is equally comfortable without one. The service and food stood out. The general atmosphere was notably great. A park and ride across the road allowed easy access, even for dogs.
The walk to get to my room was long, as it led through the pub. The road caused noise in the room. The pillows provided felt uncomfortably hard.
Rooms
9/10
My room was spacious, lovely, and very clean. It had high quality furniture and a nice view of the garden. The bed upstairs.
Location
10/10
The location is perfect for coastal and inland adventures. It is close to town, yet in rural surroundings. I saw beautiful views and very pleasant landscaping in the garden area.
Dining
8/10
The restaurant and bar area was warm and cosy. The food was of good quality and always hot. Breakfast included a minimal, basic buffet, though the cooked section used good local produce.
Service
10/10
All staff here were first class, friendly, and efficient. The staff was helpful and cute. The manager was very engaging and created a relaxed friendly atmosphere from arrival.
