charming stay

comfortable rooms cute staff fantastic experience smooth service

it was my first time here and i stayed one night. the rooms are refitted and i found them very comfortable. the staff were cute. everyone there, and i would definitely recommend it.

the bar was slightly busy, so sometimes it took a little longer to get served.

Wonderful Boutique Ambience

comfortable rooms friendly staff great experience

I visited for a fishing trip and found the rooms very comfortable and modern. The staff ensured I had a good stay. I liked the friendly atmosphere, and the overall experience was great. I found the location perfect driving back from the highlands, so its a great spot for a stopover.

I noticed the bar man was very rude. The service was slow during a busy Sunday lunch. The food portions were small. Extra gravy came in a tiny bucket.

rude barman small portion

The barman was rude. I expect a certain level of respect. the food was subpar. The portion sizes were laughably small and lacked value. extra gravy arrived in a miniature bucket, which i found insulting. the pork, a mere three-inch square, further compounded my disappointment.

underwhelming stay, some issues

broken heating quiet bar

the heating wasn't working. i needed to ask for extra blankets. there also wasn't a tv in the room, not ideal. the bar was very quiet all night. it was basically silent, which wasn't great for atmosphere.

small room poor check-in

The breakfast was good. Well cooked and with decent choices.

The room I had was smaller than I expected. It was hard to get to the bathroom because of the bed. I also found the check-in process very poor and not very friendly. There was no television in the room. Imagine that!

super clean room excellent dinner fresh food

The room was super clean. It was also beautifully appointed. The dinner was excellent. The food was fresh. Breakfast was cooked to order, and ingredients were good. The area was perfect for a morning walk.

The bar was quiet like a library.
